About this role

TFS HealthScience is a leading global mid-size Contract Research Organization that partners with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout their clinical development journey. Our expertise includes full service capabilities, resourcing, and Functional Service solutions.

We are now seeking a Medical Monitor Oncology, Lund based to support an innovative sponsor in oncology clinical development.

In this role, you will act as the sponsor’s dedicated Medical Monitor, providing hands-on medical oversight across ongoing oncology trials. You will work closely with the Clinical Trial Manager and cross functional study team, ensuring timely and robust medical evaluation of safety data and supporting critical clinical decisions.

This position requires on-site presence in Lund.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as sponsor Medical Monitor for oncology clinical trials

• Provide real-time medical assessment of SAEs, SUSARs, and emerging safety issues

• Support dose decisions, eligibility questions, and protocol-related medical queries

• Collaborate closely with the CTM and cross functional study team

• Act as the sponsor medical representative in interactions with CRO and investigators

• Contribute to safety oversight activities including safety reviews and study meetings

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor degree

• Strong background in oncology clinical development

• Experience as Medical Monitor or in a hands-on clinical safety role within interventional trials

• Early phase oncology experience is highly desirable

• Ability to make independent medical decisions in time-sensitive situations

• Comfortable working in a hybrid on-site model in Lund
