Braider / Protective Style Specialist Wanted (Textured Hair)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate braider who enjoys working with textured hair in a calm, respectful, and wellness-focused environment.

Our space is not a traditional fast-paced salon. Instead, it is a place where clients come to feel safe, supported, and cared for while learning how to embrace and maintain their natural hair.

Many of our clients have previously had difficult experiences with their hair, which means communication, patience, and empathy are just as important as technical skill.

What we are looking for

We are searching for someone who:

• Has experience with braiding and protective styles (e.g. cornrows, twists, natural braids, extensions, weaving techniques)

• Is comfortable working with different textured hair types

• Communicates clearly and kindly with clients

• Understands that textured hair care is both technical and emotional for many clients

• Enjoys creating a calm and respectful atmosphere

• Works in a hygienic and organized way

Practical interview

Candidates selected for the next step will be invited to a practical interview on location, where we will ask you to demonstrate your braiding technique and overall skill level.

This helps us understand your working method, attention to detail, and how you interact with clients.
